ALBERT PUJOLS TIES WILLIE MAYS FOR FIFTH ALL TIME IN HOME RUNS

Albert Pujols continues to add onto his already Hall of Fame career. They don't call him "The Machine" for no reason. He's consistent and he consistently gives the team what they need. Whether it be his eleven years with the Cardinals or his last nine with Angels, Pujols has produced. Not only is he tied for fifth with Willie Mays with 660 home runs, he is also third all time in RBI's with 2097. He only trails Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth in that department.

Pujols is a three-time MVP, and finished top 10 in his first eleven seasons, all with the Cardinals. He is also a ten time All Star, six time Silver Slugger Award winner, and he has taken home two Gold Glove awards. Pujols has also won two World Series. He has a career batting average of .299, and did not hit under .300 for his first ten seasons. With these stats and the hardware he has taken home, Pujols should be a lock as a first ballot hall of famer.
