EVANDER KANE NAMES PLACE AND DATE FOR FIGHT AGAINST JAKE PAUL
Ever since bragging about his upset boxing win over former NBA player Nate Robinson Saturday night, YouTube star Jake Paul has had no shortage of people calling him out to be the next in line for a shot at taking him down. San Jose Shark Evander Kane has taken it one step further, though naming the date and location for a showdown to take place.
"Yo, Jake Paul, I’d wreck ya," said Kane on Twitter. "Easy to beat up guys with no experience and much smaller. August 31st 2021 Vegas we can see if you really about that action. #YOURMOVE."
Say what you will about Kane, but he has stepped up against opponents in the NHL, including tough guy Ryan Reaves of the Vegas Golden Knights. The two have an ongoing rivalry on and off the ice. Paul shocked many people Saturday night knocking out Robinson in the second round of their fight.
Earlier Sunday, Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner also called out Paul, saying he could "f--- you up." If Paul is looking for another opponent, it appears he has no shortage of potential opponents. Lehner also made fun of Kane for challenging Paul.
