GEOFF MOLSON'S HEROIC ACT TO SAVE AN AIRPLANE PILOT

Geoff Molson was on the shores of Lake Massawippi when the accident took place. He did not see the plane crash, but heard it flying at low altitude. Soon after, he was alerted by neighbors crying for help. They informed him that an accident had occurred.

This event occurred on Saturday, shortly after 11:00 a.m. when the owner of the Montreal Canadiens rescued the pilot in question who crashed on Lake Massawippi in North Hatley, Québec.

He immediately decided to take his boat to rescue the 60-year-old pilot who, luckily, managed to extricate himself from his aircraft before it sank. Molson brought the pilot safely to the shore where he was attended to by paramedics already there.

According to the Sûreté du Québec, the pilot suffered only minor injuries.

The newspaper La Presse requested an interview with the owner and president of the Habs, but he refused the offer. According to him, he does not want to make a big deal out of it, because he claims to have only done his duty as a citizen.
