MIKE TROUT REIGNS SUPREME

Mike Trout has been back for nine games since having his first child, a son, named Beckham Aaron Trout. In that time span, the Angels center fielder has seven home runs. Before the birth of his son, Trout had five games without a homerun. Now he is on a hot streak and pitchers should know to avoid him at all costs.

In his ten years in Major League Baseball, Trout has established himself as the best player in the game, and arguably the greatest MLB player of all time. Since entering the league, Trout has a rookie of the year award, has been an All Star eight times, owns seven silver slugger awards, and has not finished worse than top four in the MVP race while winning three of them.

It doesn’t appear that Trout plans to regress anytime soon, but there are parts of his game that could show signs of him actually being human. He finished with eleven stolen bases last season, the lowest in his career since 2015. He has yet to attempt to swipe a bag this season. He is also missing the most games in his career since becoming an everyday starter, as he has not played in 150 games since 2016. Despite these things, no one should be sleeping on him, as he is still Mike Trout.
