
NHL RELEASES STATEMENT INVOLVING THE COVID-19 TESTING RESULTS
The NHL has stated that they have had zero positive COVID-19 tests in week eight.
The League has administered 1,127 tests during the eighth week of the Return to Play Plan. They have given daily tests to every player, coach and management of each team in the bubble.
The NHL stated that they will continue to hand out tests daily, during the Stanley Cup finals, and will give regular updates on the testing.
The NHL is one of the only leagues currently playing that has not had a positive COVID-19 test since returning. The NHL has not had a positive test in 8 weeks of play, and will hopefully continue the streak.
