RYAN REAVES CALLS OUT JAKE PAUL; REAVES AND KANE GO AT IT AGAIN
It seems YouTube celebrity Jake Paul's fight against former NBA player Nate Robinson Saturday has done more to ignite the hockey world than anything in the last few months. First, Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner called out Paul, telling him he would "f--- you up." Then Evander Kane of the San Jose Sharks got in on the action, stating he was willing to meet Paul in the boxing ring on August 31st, 2021.
And that was all it took to reignite the ongoing war of words (and fists) between Kane and Ryan Reaves of the Golden Knights.
To get the whole thing started, it was actually Reaves' brother Jordan, a football player, making fun of Kane.
Never one to let something like this go, Kane, of course, fired back, calling Jordan Ryan's "sister," and getting Ryan involved in the process. Kane would later delete that Tweet, noting the term "sister" is sexist.
Reaves then called out Kane and referenced a time in 2015 when Kane put up a billboard in Hollywood in an attempt to win back his model girlfriend Mara Teigen (it worked, by the way).
Kane would once again snap back at Reaves, telling him it would be the only billboard he would ever be on.
It would all circle back to the beginning from there, with Reaves telling Jake Paul he would "get that smoke" right after he was done with Paul Bisonette.
Rarely a dull moment in the hockey world, especially with characters like these.
