SABRES DEFENCEMAN JAKE MCCABE OUT SEVERAL MONTHS FOLLOWING INJURY
Feb 22, 2021 à 16h36 COOPER GODIN
The Buffalo Sabres were dealt a massive blow on Monday as the team announced defenceman Jake McCabe will be out six-to-eight months following injuries to his right knee to his ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
The injury was suffered during the Sabres win on Saturday against the New Jersey Devils. McCabe was attempting to hit Devils captain Nico Hischier when his knee appeared to buckle. He needed to be helped off the ice by teammates, and did not return.
McCabe, 27, has 3 points (1 G, 2 A), 9 penalty minutes, and is a +2 in 13 games for the Sabres this season.
We wish Jake McCabe a speedy recovery, and hope to see him back on the ice as soon as safely possible.
