WILLIAM NYLANDER WILL NOT DRESS VERSUS CANADIENS

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without William Nylander for tonight's game versus the Montreal Canadiens as he is being held out of the lineup for precautionary reasons.

Nylander, 24, recently had exposure to a possible positive COVID-19 case with a close contact outside the team. He is currently isolating and will be re-evaluated tomorrow pending the results of further testing. Obviously, given the situation the Vancouver Canucks currently find themselves in, teams can't be to careful when it comes to this current pandemic.

This is unfortunate news for the Maple Leafs, who have been hot lately with four straight wins. Nylander has four assists in that time and 30 points in 39 games on the year. Expect to hear more on this situation soon.
