Tim Tucker   ·   22 janvier 2020
The NHL has announced that Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs will no longer be taking part in on-ice events at the All-Star Game and Skills Competition taking place this weekend. According to Kristin Shilton of TSN, it's because of a nagging acute wrist injury.

The NHL has already named Matthews' replacement and it will be Brady Tkachuk of the Ottawa Senators, brother of Calgary's Matthew Tkachuk, who will also take part in the event. Brady has 15 goals and 12 assists for Ottawa this season and, while not as offensively gifted as his brother Matthew, both have reputations as being pests and players who like to get under opponents' skin.
