Trailing by a score of 7-2, Ice Breakers defenceman Brody Duncan, son of former NHLer Iain Duncan, appeared to intentionally fire a slapshot at the Thunderbirds bench. Although he appeared to try claiming it was an accident, players for the Thunderbirds were clearly not buying it as they all rushed to get at Duncan.

As of now, the league has yet to announce any sort of supplemental discipline for Duncan, but it seems likely he will be facing a lengthy suspension. Currently on the season, Duncan has seven goals and 21 points in 33 games, along with 109 penalty minutes.
