Joe De Falco   ·   10 février 2020
It's been speculated for several days that Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker could be on the move ahead of the trade deadline. As of Monday, TSN's Bob Mckenzie has confirmed the suspicion. The former second round pick has been traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

In exchange for Zucker, who has 29 points in 49 games this season, the Wild will receive forward Alex Galchenyuk, who has just 17 points in 45 games, a (conditional) 2020 first-round pick and defensive prospect Calen Addison, who was drafted in the second round of the 2018 draft. Addison currently has 43 points in 39 games with his current WHL team.

Zucker currently has three more years following the end of this season with an AAV of $5.5M left on his contract. Galchenyuk, who was traded from the Arizona Coyotes in June of 2019, will become an unrestricted free agent following the end of the 19-20 season.
