Malgin, 23, was drafted by the Panthers in the fourth round back in 2015. The swiss centermen has spent parts of the last four seasons with the Panthers, putting up 60 points in 184 career games. This year, Malgin has managed 12 points in 36 games.

Marchment is an undrafted 24-year-old who was signed by the Leafs as a free agent coming out of the OHL. He played in his first four NHL games this season, putting up one assist. In 24 AHL games this year he has 13 goals and 18 points.

For Malgin, he may see his first action as a Leaf tomorrow night when his new team takes on the Penguins in Pittsburgh, however nothing has been announced as of yet. As for Marchment, it is unclear whether he will be called back up to the NHL or stay in the minors where he was assigned by the Leafs just yesterday.
