Habs, Sens pull off a minor trade

The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators have pulled off a minor trade. The Habs have acquired Ottawa’s seventh-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, as well as forward Aaron Luchuk, in return for forward Matthew Peca.

Luchuk will report to the AHL's Laval Rocket. This is his second trade in less than a week as he was traded to the Sens from Toronto for forward Max Veronneau on February 19th.



Matthew Peca has spent most of this season in the AHL playing for the Laval Rocket. He has four goals and 13 points in 34 games. He also played five for Montreal, but failed to get on the scoreboard.
