Vegas Golden Knights re-sign defenseman

Following some explosive moves across the NHL, including the Vegas Golden Knights acquiring Stanley Cup winning defenseman Alec Martinez and Vezina finalist goaltender Robin Lehner, the Vegas Golden Knights also managed to do some work on the home front, re-signing blue-liner Nick Holden.

Holden, who signed a two-year with the Vegas Golden Knights in July of 2018 after leaving the Bruins organization as an unrestricted free agent, has signed a contract extension with the team for another two years, with an AAV of $1.7 million.



The Alberta, CA native has played in 54 games with the VGK this year, netting 11 points (5G, 6A.) He has 138 points (44G, 94A) through 489 career games.
