More events are being pushed off by the NHL as it attempts to do its part to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The league announced Wednesday that the 2020 NHL Scouting Combine, the 2020 Draft and the 2020 Bridgestone NHL Awards have all been postponed.

The Scouting Combine was set to take place June 1st through 6th in Buffalo, the Draft in Montreal on June 26th and 27th, while the NHL Awards had been scheduled for June 18th in Las Vegas. No new dates have been announced for any of the events at this time.

"The location, timing and format of the 2020 NHL Draft (and Draft Lottery) will be announced when details are finalized," said the league in a release.

"With respect to the Bridgestone NHL Awards, the League looks forward to returning to Las Vegas in the future. Las Vegas has been the home of the Bridgestone NHL Awards since 2009."

With games suspended, there is no timeline for when the 2019-20 season will resume and no details on what it might look like if and when it does.
