Philadelphia Flyers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced today that they have agreed to terms with winger Wade Allison to a two-year, entry-level contract. The Flyers selected him in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft with the 52nd overall pick in the second round.

Allison's college career came to an end after finishing his fourth year with Western Michigan University. In 26 games this season, he scored 10 goals and added 13 assists. His career high came in the 2017-18 season, when he scored 15 goals and 30 points in just 22 games. The six-foot-two winger was also the team's assistant captain for the past two seasons.

"We are very happy to have Wade under contract," said Flyers Vice President & Assistant General Manager Brent Flahr. "He possesses a great package of size, speed, and skill and we strongly believe he'll be an NHL power forward moving forward."

Before being drafted, Allison spent two seasons in the United States Hockey League with the Tri-City Storm. In 91 total games, he put up 31 goals and 60 points. Additionally, he had a combined 18 points in 18 playoff games.
