Vitali Kravtsov, a former first-round draft pick of the New York Rangers, is doing his part to help out seniors in his home country of Russia during the suspension of NHL and AHL play due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kravtsov is currently in Vladivostok and put out this message on social media:

"Vladivostok!!! Hello/regards to everyone, now is not a simple time, especially for the older generation, I'm ready to help the people that have no possibility to shop for groceries or other vital things."

Kravtsov started the 2019-20 season with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL. In late October, he opted to continue his development back in Russia and secured a loan for the remainder of the season with former club, Traktor Chelyabinsk of the KHL. However, after he was assigned to the VHL, the KHL's minor league, the Rangers decided to bring him back to North America and he returned to the Wolf Pack.
