EDMONTON’S BUBBLE HOTEL HAVING SOME MALFUNCTIONS EARLY ON

While the NHL has been pretty smooth sailing so far for how they have handled everything during the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a slight blemish yesterday.

Per Edmonton Oilers reporter Ryan Rishaug, the Sutton Place hotel in Edmonton has been without air conditioning for the past day. While this may not seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things, Edmonton reached 34 degrees Celsius yesterday, which made the hotel very hot on the inside. No players have come out complaining, at least not to this point, but it can’t be the most comfortable situation for them to be in.

Edmonton of course, was one of two hub cities the NHL selected for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs, with the other being Toronto. Games are set to begin Saturday night, although there were some exhibition games yesterday, including the Oilers taking on the Flames.
