Monday's Quick Hits: Jakub Kindl matches Voracek for honesty, injuries, more

Former NHLer Jakub Kindl took a page out of Jake Voracek's playbook while playing in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (German Hockey League). He told the ref he wasn't tripped and prevented a penalty from being called against the other team.



Devils 'Jesper Bratt is dealing with an upper body injury, possibly concussion symptoms after leaving the game against the Canes. He will not be going with the Devils to Winnipeg.



Mika Zibanejad is still not healthy enough to get back into the Rangers' lineup. Marc Staal will be a healthy scratch for the 3rd straight game. And Alexandar Georgiev will start for the third game in a row against Ottawa tonight.



Alex Tuch of the Vegas Golden Knights is day-to-day with an upper body injury and did not travel with the team to Columbus. Tuch was playing in just his 2nd game this season Saturday when he took a high hit from Winnipeg's Adam Lowry and left.



Meanwhile, Vegas has recalled Nic Hague And Nicholas Roy from the AHL



Devils' Nikita Gusev may actually see the ice against Winnipeg. The Bratt injury may have forced John Hynes' hand.
