John Scott makes hilarious comment on casino's lawsuit against Evander Kane

6 novembre 2019
Former NHL enforcer John Scott had a little fun after news broke that San Jose's Evander Kane was being sued by the Cosmopolitan Casino in Las Vegas.

As we reported here Tuesday night, court documents filed by the casino claim it extended Kane eight credits of varying amounts between $20,000 and $100,000 on or about April 15th that he never paid back. That date is between games three and four of the playoff series between Kane's San Jose Sharks and the Vegas Golden Knights. In total, the Cosmopolitan is seeking $500,000 in allegedly unpaid gambling markers, as well as legal fees associated with the suit.

As pretty much every hockey fan is aware by now, Kane has an ongoing feud, on and off the ice, with Ryan Reaves of the Vegas Golden Knights. Kane and Reeves have exchanged several barbs through news and social media over the last couple of years. Scott, who has been very active on social media since retiring from the NHL, took the opportunity to poke a little fun at Kane with a Tweet reading "*Kane frantically trying to find out if Reaves has any unpaid parking tickets in San Jose*."

We're certain it's only a matter of time before Reaves has something to say about the lawsuit, which Kane and his team have yet to comment on.
