Maple Leafs forward
Mitch Marner has left tonight's game against the Philadelphia Flyers and will not return.
The injury occurred at the beginning of the 2nd period, in a somewhat innocent looking play where Marner, trying to push off, steps on Flyers forward
Carsen Twarynski's stick and appears to fall awkwardly on his right knee/ankle.
This is upsetting news for a Leafs squad who has won its last three games and was hoping to enter this next week with a full healthy squad as winger
Zach Hyman's return seems imminent.
Marner has played all 82 games in the last two seasons.
